Nene Davies was born in England, raised in Wales and for the past eighteen years, has lived in Australia with her husband and family.
The 90's were an interesting time, when they all lived in a crumbing old ruin of a house on the Pembrokeshire coast, happy as clams. Everything was great until the close little family was rocked by redundancy. At first this seemed like a disaster, but they quickly realised here was an opportunity to follow their dreams and emigrate to Australia. Nene's mantra became what if? What if we do? And (worse) what if we don't? She and her husband took the plunge, packed up the kids, said goodbye to family and friends and headed down under.
Nene wrote her debut novel Distance in 2012 and since then has published Further and Surfacing to complete The Distance Series trilogy. She has also published an e-book collection of micro-fiction entitled Life Bites, and 2016 saw the release of her novella, Redhanded. Nene's latest novel, Whitethorne, was published in 2018.
